Food Is Love

Menya Noodle Bar has a 90% rating on Urbanspoon and they do indeed serve delicious noodles. At first glance of the restaurant it didn't look like much. It is rather busy and small but the noodles and soup are top notch, and I'd totally recommend a visit. Much like Chat Thai, I'll definitely be visiting Menya again. In terms of pricing their menus range from $10 - $13. Nothing you can't afford.

Chicken Katsu Soba.
Deep fried chicken cultet, fish cake, shallot & sesame seaweed.
$10.90
Menya Ramen.
Roasted pork, fish cake, bamboo shoots, shallot, sesame seed, dried seaweed & seasoned boiled egg.
$9.90

I had the Apple Pie Milkshake this time as oppose to my regular which is the Caramel Popcorn (and is a total must if you decide to go). The Apple Pie Milkshake was a cinnamon overload. Don't think I'll be having that again.

It was very thrilling being able to sit right next to the baristas and getting to the see what goes on behind the scenes of our coffees and shakes.  The Paramount Coffee Project was also busy today. We had to wait 30 minutes before being seated, but it was totally worth it when we arrived at our tables stationed next to the baristas.

Gurllllll.

It's somewhere in Surry Hills. Sure, there's an address for the Soda Factory, and sure you can use your iPhone to take you to the address, but there's a hidden entrance into the bar. Good luck. May the odds be ever in your favor.

The Soda Factory Cheeseburger.
$13.
